Male Fertility Care

Male factor infertility contributes to approximately 40–50% of all infertility cases, yet it is often the last area to be fully investigated. Our dedicated Male Fertility Care programme takes a thorough, whole-person approach to understanding and treating every aspect of male reproductive health — from sperm count and motility to hormonal balance, genetics, and structural issues.

We offer the full range of male fertility diagnostics, from standard semen analysis to advanced sperm DNA fragmentation testing, hormonal blood profiles, scrotal ultrasound, and genetic screening. Where a treatable cause is identified — such as a varicocele, hormonal imbalance, or obstruction — our andrology specialists provide the appropriate medical or surgical treatment. Where natural conception is not possible, we work closely with our IVF team to use techniques such as ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection) to achieve pregnancy.

Our approach to male fertility is never one-dimensional. We also recognise the significant impact of lifestyle on sperm quality — including diet, weight, smoking, alcohol, heat exposure, and stress — and provide personalised lifestyle optimisation guidance alongside clinical treatment to give you the best possible outcome.

Expert care for male reproductive health

Our andrology specialists combine advanced diagnostics with personalised treatment plans to identify the exact cause of male infertility and address it as effectively as possible.

Comprehensive Diagnostic Testing

We go beyond basic semen analysis to offer sperm DNA fragmentation testing, full hormonal blood panels (FSH, LH, testosterone, prolactin), scrotal Doppler ultrasound, karyotyping, and Y-chromosome microdeletion analysis — ensuring no cause is missed.

Full Range of Treatment Options

From lifestyle modification programmes and hormonal therapy, to microsurgical varicocele repair and surgical sperm retrieval (TESA, PESA, Micro-TESE) for use with IVF/ICSI — we cover every treatment pathway available in male fertility care.

Our Centres Across the Region

Our Male Fertility Care clinics are fully equipped with dedicated andrology laboratories for semen processing, sperm DNA testing, and surgical sperm retrieval. Our andrology specialists work in close collaboration with our IVF and gynaecology teams, so that male and female fertility factors are assessed and treated together as part of a unified couple care plan.

Your path to understanding your fertility

Male fertility assessment follows a logical, stepwise process. Here is how we move from initial testing to treatment and, ultimately, to a successful pregnancy.

We approach male fertility care with discretion, sensitivity, and clinical rigour. Our team creates a respectful, confidential environment in which men feel comfortable seeking the help they need.

Tailored Guidance

Your dedicated andrology specialist will walk you through every test result in plain language, explaining what each finding means for your fertility and what your realistic options are — without jargon and without judgement.

Step 01

Expert Clinical Advice

Our team includes specialist andrologists, urologists, and reproductive medicine physicians who work together to diagnose rare and complex male fertility conditions and design the most effective treatment pathway — whether that is medical, surgical, or assisted conception with IVF/ICSI.

Step 02

Care Planning

We provide a written male fertility care plan that covers your diagnostic results, recommended treatment steps, lifestyle modification programme, and follow-up testing schedule. Where IVF or ICSI is part of your plan, we coordinate directly with our fertility team for a seamless, joined-up experience.

Step 03

Frequently asked question

A semen analysis evaluates sperm count (concentration), motility (the percentage of sperm moving), morphology (the percentage of sperm with a normal shape), and semen volume. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines normal reference ranges for each parameter. Many men fall slightly below normal in one area, which is treatable. A single abnormal result should always be confirmed with a second test before any diagnosis is made.

Many causes of male infertility are treatable without IVF. Varicoceles — enlarged veins in the scrotum that affect sperm production — can often be surgically repaired with a significant improvement in sperm parameters. Hormonal imbalances are corrected with medication. Lifestyle changes alone can improve sperm quality substantially over 3–6 months. IVF with ICSI is recommended when natural conception is unlikely despite treatment, or when a surgical or medical cause cannot be fully corrected.
